Views and more
We love people from all nationalities visiting us and it’s what enriches our lives. We can to get to know you all, especially those who understand the ethos of Airbnb (that this is our home and we delight in sharing it with you).
We have a great ocean view from the front of the property (your unit has bush views), are very friendly, though we know you like your own privacy, and have a lot of local knowledge to ensure your stay with us is as interesting as possible. Just ask and if we can help, we will.
The accommodation is separate and away from the house, ensuring you have peace and quiet (although we can’t guarantee the birds won’t wake you). Lakes Entrance is a seaside resort that is fairly quiet but comes alive in summer and Easter.
We have the train and bus that comes to Lakes Entrance and we can pick you up from the bus stop. Please let us know…it’s no problem.
A continental brekky is provided including eggs from our own chickens, juice, yogurt, granola, toast and jams.
What's here?
There are lots of attractions in the area, boating, fishing and much more. We are 3-4 hours east from Melbourne and look forward to welcoming you to our home.
Most things are provided such as linen, towels (including beach towels if required), cutlery, crockery, coffee, tea, and lots of little extras or pick your own herbs and vegetables (seasonal) from the garden.
While the unit is really for 1-2 people – 1 queen bed, and there is a double couch as well.
Check out is 11am or flexible if we have no one else coming that day but please consider that we do have to clean the room at some stage for our next guests. At our busy time of the year (November to April) in view of the amount of bookings it would be great if you could check out at 11am and in after 2pm. Just so we can make it clean and sparkly for the next guest.
Guest access and interaction
Your own self contained apartment (away from our house) with separate attached bathroom, kitchen, deck, bush views, but we are usually home to lend a hand or answer questions.
We can interact or not depending on your needs. We take great pride in being intuitive enough to see when company is required or your own space is more important and try to make sure that happens.

Cancel up to 5 days before check in and get a full refund (minus service fees). Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded. Service fees are refunded when cancellation happens before check in and within 48 hours of booking.
